
North’s track teams put in work at the 2025 Mayfield Invitational on Friday, finishing fifth in the girls’ competition and sixth in the boys’.
Freshman Zoey Prosen and sophomore Amaya Majette both won an individual event.
Prosen claimed the high jump title after clearing 5-0, and she also placed fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:04.17) and fourth in the long jump (14-10).
Majette won the discus with a throw of 120-9, and she placed second in the shot put (34-2).
Junior Rylee Smith also had a solid meet, placing second in the long jump (15-0), and fourth in the high jump (4-10).
Junior Brayden Sandstrom led the boys’ team with a pair of second-place finishes.
He ran a time of 11.14 in the 100-meter dash and 22.51 in the 200.
Junior Alexavier Harris also finished among the top four with a fourth-place finish in the discus with a best throw of 130-feet, 2-inches.
